Beth Wish
Beth Wish started playing roller derby with the TXRG Rec League in 2011. Beth had always loved skating, but needed a crash course (har har) in skills such as crossovers and stopping. Simply running straight into the wall to stop herself wasn’t cutting it anymore, so she thought she’d join Rec League just to improve her skating. Beth made sure it was ok to stay in Primer indefinitely before joining, since she never had any intention of playing derby competitively. However, after her first contact drill, Beth Wish had fallen in love with this nonconventional sport, and now she’s gonna keep on rollin’ until she can’t possibly roll anymore! An original member of TFR, Beth has also skated for The Reckoning (TXRG’s Rec League A team), and the Rockin’ City Rollergirls in Round Rock, TX.
