VaVa finally joined a roller derby team in 2013 after a long-term infatuation from afar dating back to 2003. She had spent every birthday party from age 6 to age 10 at the skating rink, so why not try (legally) hitting people on skates? VaVa is on her third season with the Rockin’ City Rollergirls travel team and is so excited to be able to skate with the amazing women of Team Free Radicals!
